Working chugging along with fanfiction. The FicWip community is really nice and I'm feeling motivated even though I'm still slow and a lot of them don't share my fandom. It's still nice to see people being that supportive of writing.

Also in Twst news, I'm enjoying the Stitch event! It's so cute and I like the way Lilia and Floyd are also very central. Especially with Floyd who is often seen as destructive and chaotic like Stitch. On top of that, Lilia deals with Malleus who could easily be seen as being a destructive force, like Stitch. So I feel like it's very relevant.

Also working on being better about following up on my bullet journal tdls, so I can be more organized. I'm not doing it perfectly, but I think I'm slowly getting there. It's hard when my job gets so busy in summer, but I want to be consistent even though some of my goals from earlier in the year have fallen by the wayside.

but I'm keeping up with exercise and my reading. There are a lot of games distracting me and I'm hoping Dawntrail will suck me back into FFXIV hard.

It's been forever since I've done anything like this and I look at my dw entry I made in 2012 and wow. I mean I'm in a better place moneywise at least, though I could be more responsible, but I got to get back on track with a lot of things.

But some goals and thoughts.

So not much has been happening this week, but I did start reading Eyeshield 21 and so far this is incredible. Like Hiruma alone is worth reading it for. I've never seen a good guy character like this, one who is kind of a huge dick, but so enjoyable you don't mind? I am excited for when Mamori actually does find out Sena is Eyeshield 21 though and disappointed that apparently the anime doesn't go that same route.

But this is a surprisingly fun and engaging sports manga and I've learned more about football form this than I have in like decades of being alive?

Also in non-manga news, I'm reading Soulless by Gail Carriger. I wasn't sure I was going to like it at first, because the writing felt, I don't know, awkward and Alexia was that kind of special that can get annoying. But she's growing on me and the universe is become interesting, as is the mystery at the heart of the book. The romance is a little silly, but enjoyable as well.
