That moment when you decide you want to try to do something like developing a drawing habit, and your wrist decides to start hurting :/

I guess it's vn time. I snagged Vampire Therapist and Paradise, but I'm also going to get caught up on twst. Admittedly, I'm getting twst'd out a little since I read a bunch of volumes of the manga I'm reading the light novel for hearts, so I'm hoping for a break (not from fandom/fanfiction though.)

Also started watching Gundam Wing. I think I tried years ago and never got far, but new content left me curious and it had such an impact on western fandom back in the day that I want to see it for that reason alone. I'm also still catching up on Vinland Saga and Too Perfect Saint.

And right now I'm going through Kamen Rider Wizard which is a lot of fun. Fights look good and everyone is so stylish.

Reading wise, still in the War and Peace trenches. Like I mentioned, I'm also reading the Heartslabyul manga. And I'm reading the Virgin Crown by M.A. Wellons.

Manga and Webcomic wise, I'm keeping up with Senza Replica and started Monochrome Rumor. Have a few others to finish. I need to start making a schedule for checking in here and posting.

Still going through Jack's dream stuff at this point, but initial thoughts.

I can't go into detail since there's a lot of little jokes in panels that would be nice to point out, but I don't feel like taking screen caps/pics (I've done it before and it's exhausting), but just general impressions and thoughts:

I'm tired from work and not being able to sleep yesterday, so I don't know what my motivation is going to be for my days off.

In the trying new things category, I got one of those Woobles kits. Pierre looks cute, but I gave up for the day after having to undo my work right away because holding that crochet needle is hard. The hand positioning sucks. I'm going to plan on getting the little penguin done, though I suspect I'm going to conclude crochet isn't for me (so much respect to people who make big projects- Grandmas work super hard!)

Trying to do bread at home regularly because I might as well since we have the kitchen aid. It's been a while since I've been in the habit. The problem with bread is you need to plan things out timing wise though. Still this recipe was fantastic.

Also, twst has so many amazing things happening right now in JPN and EN. I need to catch up. Even though the current event feels very slow.

In podcasts, I'm trying out Weeping Cedars. I'm on the 2nd season, and I like how even the lighthearted show is still sinister (those kids are definitely not keeping on keeping on in the woods Eli.)

I was reminded of how much I love Malleus x Deuce. And I'm just thinking of like accidental dating nonsense.

Deuce doing something that Malleus takes as a courtship move and decides to go along with it because he's impressed by how much nerve Deuce has. Deuce is just clueless about this.

Or just as good, something happens and Malleus decides to take responsibility for Deuce aka we're getting married.

And hell, it could go the other way too. Maybe the Queendom of Roses has some weird, obscure tradition or law that means you have to get married. Like maybe if someone trips into you on the third full moon of the year while holding a flower bouquet that means you are now married/must get married (bonus points if this is the one obscure law Deuce remembered). And Deuce is freaked out because he doesn't have a job yet, how can he support a prince let alone himself, but damn it, he's going to take responsibility!

You could do this with other characters, but I'm in a MalDeu mood. Maybe I'll do something with this when I catch up on other fics including the one MalDeu fluff scenario I'm writing.
