A meaty fic! Jamil comes to Leona post NRC for help with a family curse and adventure ensues along with UST.

The banter between these two is fantastic, along with the characterization. It also has so many Lion King and Aladdin references, all of them fantastic.


Catastrophic Night by DerpAWorld1000-Azul/Riddle (WIP)

Post NRC fic where Azul and Riddle are involved in an accident together. Excellent Azul character study and some pulse pounding drama.

Quick Malleus x Deuce thought

I was reminded of how much I love Malleus x Deuce. And I'm just thinking of like accidental dating nonsense.

Deuce doing something that Malleus takes as a courtship move and decides to go along with it because he's impressed by how much nerve Deuce has. Deuce is just clueless about this.

Or just as good, something happens and Malleus decides to take responsibility for Deuce aka we're getting married.

And hell, it could go the other way too. Maybe the Queendom of Roses has some weird, obscure tradition or law that means you have to get married. Like maybe if someone trips into you on the third full moon of the year while holding a flower bouquet that means you are now married/must get married (bonus points if this is the one obscure law Deuce remembered). And Deuce is freaked out because he doesn't have a job yet, how can he support a prince let alone himself, but damn it, he's going to take responsibility!

You could do this with other characters, but I'm in a MalDeu mood. Maybe I'll do something with this when I catch up on other fics including the one MalDeu fluff scenario I'm writing.
