Movies-Parasite

Watching Parasite a few years after the buzz is interesting. I was spoiled for everything at the time and felt like it might be too much misery. But I ended up enjoying it a lot!
The direction, the acting, the script, it all comes together. The first third of it is funny as hell, then it takes a turn to horror, and then it careens towards a fated tragedy.
Another film where I think "eat the rich" isn't a good description of it. I like how it takes a very ludicrous scenario and then tacks on another absurd scenario and follows both to their inevitable conclusions. The Kims are highly sympathetic, but also callous, even towards others like them.
A movie that deserved its awards.
