It always intrigues me how whenever someone makes a post about shipping, especially if it's some variation of "don't bully people for shipping something you don't like" or "people's ships don't make them bad people or immoral," someone always has to reply "Yes but-"

I don't want to use the word "virtue signaling" for lots of reasons, but it does feel like showing off how good and moral you are. And it's not even just on the proship posts. That post about how "enemies to lovers" has lost all meaning had people complaining about how you'd better not ship bully romance and I'm just like... bro. Please. Other than a few of your idiot friends, no one is impressed.

YEAHHHHH I hate stuff like this, and that's even as someone who avoids DD/taboo ships like the plague b/c folks can just block what they don't like and move on. It's ok to think something is gross/not your thing w/o needing to advertise it on a billboard xD
